These three photos represent a lot about my faith walk. The first photo on the left is Huckleberry Springs Church. It is where I began the journey publicly (actually, it began at my Mother’s knee… but that’s another story for another day.)
I joined Huckleberry UMC in the fall of 1964 when I was 10 years old. The church (for the time being) is not an active church having merged with Riverdale UMC in 2007. (However… there is always hope!) Joe and I were married in this church in 1975.
The third photo (on the right) is a picture of a sunrise reflected from the window of the house I grew up in. The photo was made in the late 60′s or early 70′s when I was a teenager. (What a time to be a teenager!)
The middle photo reflects my life today. It is the logo for Prayerlogue Ministries and is titled “Yesterday’s Values, Today’s Technology, Eternal Implications.”
The Bible was my Mother’s. Oh, the memories I have of her reading it! The laptop was a gift from my husband (and best friend) in 2004 after my Mother passed away. He is the greatest supporter of my ministry, studies, and writing. I thank God for him everyday. I am so blessed.
And this photo was made at Bethel UMC, the church where Joe grew up, and where we now belong. May God be glorified in everything we do!
