I am under contract to write another series for the Daily Bible Study guide. This one will be a companion for the Summer 2013 Adult Bible Study series.
I will also be writing one for the Summer 2014 series as well. I am so blessed to be able to spend time doing what I love so much!
Finally! A Comprehensive and In-depth Bible Study for Women is Happening in the East Knox County Area
Continuing until the end of April, the “East Knox Area Women’s Bible Study” will be meeting at Pleasant Hill UMC, 8807 Pleasant Hill Road in East Knox County. We currently have 2 studys – Monday nights from 6:00-8:00pm and Tuesday mornings from 9:00am-11:00am.
We are planning now for a new study beginning in the Fall 2012. If you are interested please let us know.

I’ve not been preaching lately as Joe and I have just joined Washington Pike UMC where I am teaching an adult SS class, and Joe is singing in the choir. If you really want to be “fed” and are looking for a church where the Word of God is taught – this is the church for you.

The Daily Bible Study guide (companion for the the Adult Bible Studies) is now available at Cokesbury http://www.cokesbury.com/forms/ProductDetail.aspx?pid=1010047 I wrote the third unit titled “Jesus Teaches Wisdom.” It is based on the Sermon on the Mount.
We had a great time at Beulah. Although this study was designed for a Lenten Study, it would make a great Bible Study anytime. E-mail me if you’d be interested in having it at your church or for your group.
For Lent 2011
I will be teaching a study during Lent at Beulah UMC ( http://www.holston.org/churches/beulah-umc-knoxville-knoxville-tn/ ) titled: “Finding Footing as the Ground Gives ‘Way.” The time period will be “From (the Last) Supper to (the First) Sunrise”. In this we will take an indepth look at what took place from (Maundy) Thursday to (Easter) Sunday morning and ask, “Where do we find footing when the ground gives ‘way beneath us?”
The Daily Bible Study Series
I recently finished writing a unit for The Daily Bible Study Series. This resource makes a great companion to the Adult Bible Study series which many churches use in their Sunday Schools. These are available from Cokesbury.com, and the Fall 2011 unit will be available in June.
